The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and LIFF launch new Program for Young Filmmakers

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, in partnership with the Louisiana International Film Festival (LIFF), has launched a new program for aspiring young filmmakers called Creative Industries Corps.

The first program, “An Introduction to the World of Film,” provided at only $100 (and free for residents of Old South Baton Rouge), will be held during LIFF’s annual festival in Baton Rouge, May 8-11, 2014.

Ages 16+ are invited to attend this innovative three-day course that allows participants to workshop and network with the experts, attend screenings, and meet recognized filmmakers. This dynamic and versatile program guarantees vital career information based on real life experience in the film and digital media industries from a decorated panel of guest speakers.
