SPECIAL MESSAGE: LIVE PERFORMANCE INFRASTRUCTURE APPLICATIONS RECOMMENDED SUBMISSION DATE NOV. 1

October 14, 2013

Office of Entertainment Industry Development

As 2013 winds down, Louisiana Entertainment recommends that anyone seeking to apply for the Live Performance Infrastructure Program do so by November 1, 2013 (NOTE: this deadline is NOT applicable to higher education musical or theatrical projects).

Act 197 of the 2013 legislative session mandates that projects seeking qualification for the live performance infrastructure tax credit program must be initially certified on or before January 1, 2014. In an effort to ensure that our office has enough time to process these applications and initially certify your infrastructure project, we are simply recommending that you apply no later than November 1, 2013.

For more information, please review the live performance application process here:

In addition, please feel free to contact our office anytime via e-mail or by phone 225.342.5403.
