SPECIAL MESSAGE REGARDING EXPENDITURE VERIFICATION REPORTS

Beginning on January 1, 2016, in accordance with new state law effective that date, Louisiana Economic Development will contract with Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) to prepare expenditure verification reports for the Film, Digital Interactive Media, Sound Recording and Live Performance programs.  Reports from company-retained CPA’s, as permitted by current law, must be received by LED no later than December 31, 2015.  After that date all expenditures must be reported and verified through the new procedure.
